April Cushman is an award winning songwriter who has written songs for artists in the pop, country, bluegrass, CCM, and gospel space, including the Billboard #1 song, My Hope Is In You, recorded by Aaron Shust. April’s music ministry is a megaphone of God’s goodness + faithfulness in the face of grief and tragedy.
April makes her home with her husband, Trey and their 3 kids. She can often be found with her family on a bike ride, around a board game or at a piano creating another song of praise.
PSALM 40: 1-3 / I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the mud and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
